We believe that self-awareness is a form of empowerment—and our goal is to provide objective insights that can support your personal growth, reflection, and self-care journey.
By using our app, you are choosing to engage with a system built on scientific measurement and transparency. While some of the feedback may be direct, our intent is never to judge, but to inform.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, “your”) and Esnap Labs, a company registered in Ohio, United States of America (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
We operate the mobile application Facemetrics (“App”) and related services that refer or link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. Supplemental terms and conditions may be posted on the Services from time to time and are incorporated herein by reference.

The App provides facial feature analysis, symmetry assessment, and aesthetic evaluation services using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. Our Services include:

1.2 Purpose and Intended Use
The Services are designed for:

4.1 Not Medical Advice
IMPORTANT: THE SERVICES ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES, DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS, OR SOURCES OF MEDICAL ADVICE.
The Services do not:
* Diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical condition
* Provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
* Replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals
* Offer personalized medical or surgical recommendations
* Assess health conditions or fitness for medical procedures
4.2 Mental Health Considerations
We recognize that appearance-related content can impact mental health. If you experience:
* Body dysmorphia or appearance-related anxiety
* Depression or low self-esteem related to appearance
* Obsessive thoughts about facial features
* Eating disorders or self-harm behaviors

4.3 Medical Consultation Recommendation
Before making any medical or cosmetic decisions based on our Services:

4.4 Accuracy Limitations
Our algorithms may produce inaccurate results due to:
* Image quality, lighting, or angle variations
* Individual facial variations and uniqueness
* Technical limitations of AI/ML systems
* Data training limitations
4.5 Scoring System and Safety Measures
For safety reasons all scores are boosted by a small amount. We want users to feel good about themselves and we want to help raise their perception of themselves whilst also giving a somewhat accurate representation of metrics since that is what users may be looking for.
The app is meant to empower and provide entertainment.
Safeguards are put in place to ensure users do not score on the lower end of the scale
i.e. below a 4 unless they intentionally try to manipulate the model. Even if manipulated negatively, the safeguards
boost scores artificially to ensure a "safe" score.
Scoring is not meant to be used as a verdict of beauty, they are not beauty scores.
This is simply a fun game and a tool to learn about your face structure via landmarking technology.
The numbers are only put in place to gamify the experience.
The real goal is to help users maintain a healthy balance and lifestyle that reflects on their face.
5. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
5.1 Privacy Policy Integration
Our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, governs the collection, use, and protection of your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to our privacy practices.
